This course aims to develop students' understanding of multiplication and division by exploring the relationship between these operations and their connection to the area of rectangles. Through various representations such as equal groups, arrays, area models, and equations, learners will gain a conceptual understanding of multiplication.

The course will guide students in finding products up to 144, allowing them to practice and master multiplication skills. Additionally, students will learn strategies for multiplying one-digit numbers by multiples of 10 or 100, using methods that are grounded in place value. This approach not only enhances students' computational abilities but also strengthens their understanding of the underlying mathematical principles.

By the end of the 9-week course, students will have developed a solid foundation in multiplication and division.
